On this freestyle track that also serves as the second single to Heater In My Truck II, his upcoming new album dropping February 27, 2026 on Hand’Solo Records, Prairie rap legend Epic is joined by Emprime for this ode to local eatery Hathaway's Diner over a spacey boom bap funk groove courtesy of Juno Award winner Moka Only. While the intro and chorus name drops the diner, Epic and Prime also touch on additional topics such as being an aging rapper, living in Canada, and there is even an homage to the Smoothe da Hustler classic “Broken Language". “Hathaway’s Diner” is new school rap with old school ideals.

"We want listeners to think of the project as a TV series, where each song is an episode and each episode takes on a different beat genre - from upbeat and funky to dark and gritty. The goal of the project was to make it sound like we were creating the project in the same room. To bridge the space, we got creative with our writing and used daily voicemails to share ideas.
Switch and Moka Only first collaborated in 2020, releasing a joint single titled "Skeletons. Shortly after, the idea of working on an EP together was born. Finally, in July 2023, the idea came to fruition and they began recording what was originally intended to be a four-track project. Still without an album title, and with the idea that there might be a few more tracks to pump out, Switch sent Moka some additional beats - one of which was titled 'Mothership'. The word resonated and was incorporated into the song's chorus, becoming the EP's title track and inspiring the album's artwork.
