Listen up, fam! Mic Bles and Level 13 just dropped a sick new remix single called "KINGZ 13:10," and it's straight fire. Featuring the one and only DJ Romes, this track is part of their latest collab project, and let me tell you, it's something special.
Picture this: classic boom-bap vibes with a fresh twist. Level 13 lays down a gritty beat that hits you right in the chest, while Mic Bles spits rhymes that'll have you nodding your head in agreement. I'm talking Army of the Pharaohs-level energy here... and then there's DJ Romes, bringing that next-level scratching that just takes the whole thing to another dimension while they "eliminate punks, cut 'em up in chunks." It's old-school meets new-school in the best way possible.
Raised on : First single from the Level 13, Mic Bles collab album "Still No Halos".
At its core, "Raised On" is an ode to the streets. The production, crafted by Level 13, hits hard and provides the perfect backdrop for each artist to unleash their truths. From the gritty neighborhoods they hail from to the lessons they learned from the OGs on the block, each verse is a testament to the resilience and authenticity embedded in their upbringing.
ethemadassassin, known for his razor-sharp lyricism, delivers bars that cut deep and offer a glimpse into the struggles and triumphs of his journey. And DJ Romes, with his masterful turntablism, adds an extra layer of authenticity to the mix, paying homage to the roots of hip-hop culture.
But it's not just about the streets - it's about the resilience forged in the fire. "Raised On" is a celebration of survival, a testament to the strength found in adversity. As Mic Bles, Level 13 and their collaborators share their stories, they invite listeners into their world, offering a raw and unfiltered look at the realities of street life.
