Queens underground powerhouse Jus-P connects with Lo Life/Brooklyn Zu affiliate Luey The 4th to release their stellar collaborative album Take Everything : Lo Life Meets Wu Tang fully produced by GS Advance.
The album brings together the two respective crews with features from Wu Tang Killa Bees Solomon Childs, Timbo King, Buddha Monk, Beretta 9, Kenyattah Black with D.V. Alias Khrist, Shabaam Sahdeeq and Thirstin Howl the 3rd representing strong for the Lo Lifes. The album is available through Chambermusik Records on all major platforms.
Brooklyn Zu/Lo Life affiliates Jus P & Luey the 4th return with their haunting new single "Bruja Stew " featuring the Lo Life general himself Thirstin Howl the 3rd. This dark and cinematic track is the second single from their upcoming album Take Everything: Lo Life meets Wu Tang, and is produced by GS Advance. The track is also mixed and mastered by G Clef Da Mad Komposa. "Bruja Stew " stirs up cautionary tales of women with bad intentions told through raw lyricism over a brooding ritualistic beat. The song captures the underground legacy and folklore grit that defines Chambermusik's Wu Tang affiliated legacy.

Spanglish Boom-Bap trio Grupo HNE have dropped a new single this morning. "LO Malo" translates to "the bad" and since the track has a guest feature from the legendary polorican himself, Thirstin Howl The 3rd and the group is part of the Lo-Life Miami Family, it's apparent why the LO is capitalized in the title. Grupo HNE (pronounced Henny) is made up of DJ Exes on the mic, DJ Heron on production and multi-instrumentalist Nando who adds percussion, keyboards and occasional vocals.
Speaking on the track's creation, Exes relayed "Thirstin picked the beat, which reminded me of a 70's gangster / spy type movie. I attacked it from the perspective of a trench coat wearing, aviator sunglasses rockin', cigar smoking salsero, writing an entry in his journal, which will one day be a best-seller. Once my verse was done I sent it off to Thirstin and he bodied it like the beat killer that he is. All that was left was for Nando to lace it with congas to give it that chef's kiss. The result is ...LO Malo."
Peruvian boom bap king DJ Heron returns with another fire remix (and video treatment, directed and edited by Box-Lo) of a classic Thirstin Howl The 3rd joint. "Beautiful People" (original version released in 2015) features the Polorican on the same track as The Beatnuts and Tash (Alkaholiks), over a hard instrumental backdrop.
The "Beautiful People" remix is taken from the recently released Thirstin On Heron LP, available now (in limited USB edition via the link below) and streaming exclusively on Spotify and www.DJHeron.com. Given full access to the Skillionaire's entire musical vault, DJ Heron has remixed many of Thirstin's classic tracks from the 90's onwards. Thirstin Howl The 3rd has released a new animated video this morning. “A General” (Remix) features animation by Dios Cartoons and frequent collaborator Big Boo with verse and on the hook. The track is another potent display of lyrical prowess from the Lo-Life General and the original version appeared on the Survival Of The Skillest LP (2015). However, this version was majestically remixed by DJ Heron and is the first leak from the forthcoming Thirstin On Heron album (to drop on Feb 20th).
