Following "BLASPHEMOUS," "CHAMPION: Tyrco Slatterus," "Compound Fractures" and the "Super Sloth" diss EP, this marks the fifth project from the Citizen Kane MHB universe covered here the productivity of this one-man cosmos is remarkable. "Gummo Worms¡" is its most conceptually dense entry: the tracklist maps Harmony Korine's 1997 debut film "Gummo" almost scene by scene. The film is set in tornado-wrecked Xenia, Ohio hence "Welcome to Xenia." The boys in the film kill cats and sell them hence "Dead Cat Money!" and "No Competion (Dead Cats)" (typo in the original). The Bunny Boy with his rabbit ears "Bunny Ears," "Skinny Rabbit." The notorious bathtub-spaghetti scene flickers through "Gourmet Cappaleni (Cherry Shampoop)." Even the title twists gummy worms into Korine territory. CK1 and Sinister Kane both personas of the same writer split the tracks, CFK and Avalon Productions handle beats, DJ Snatch That cuts. The self-description "Weird & Very Uncomfortable! But Dope Underground Hip Hop!" is, for once, accurate marketing.
