Following "NARCONOMICAL MINDED" and the "Duck Tales LP" (as Grappler Gustavo), this marks the third Gustavo Louis entry in this column his productivity confirms itself again. "Love Affair" comes from the album "borosilicate," produced by Sabio Dub. Borosilicate glass is heat-resistant and chemically durable as an album title, it reads as a statement about resilience and transparency simultaneously. "Love Affair" as a track title breaks from the otherwise more militant, economics-coded vocabulary of his "Narconomics" universe (see "NARCONOMICAL MINDED"), opening a softer, more intimate side. Sabio Dub's name carries a dub/reggae connotation that likely gives this track a different texture than previously documented Gustavo Louis productions.
