A-F-R-O born James Dean Santiago-Gutierrez in Gardena, California, also known as FRO Thizzle or Grandmaster FRO is rapper, producer and actor simultaneously, known for technical lyricism, multisyllabic rhyme schemes and an early platform provided by R.A. The Rugged Man. His production credits span Marco Polo (the joint "A-F-R-O POLO" EP via Duck Down Records, nearly 10 million streams) through Diamond D to extensive solo catalogs like "Trap Door," "No More Patience" and "At the Sideshow 2: Art House," featuring guests including Skyzoo, Termanology, Blu and Jon Connor. "Ripstick Exorcism" is entirely A-F-R-O-produced and opens Rash Reed's "Fresh Paint EP," announced for October 29. Haley Hoffman shoots. The title fuses the childlike nostalgia of ripstick riding with religious exorcism vocabulary an unusual but compelling image collision.
