The Grouch & Eligh’s “God Blessed Me” video comes with a specific production detail: The Grouch handled the chopping and looping himself. Both artists recorded the track, Starski mixed and mastered it, and Evan Doheny supplied the video. That places part of the record’s construction directly with one of its two voices. The loop work is not an anonymous backdrop in the credits; it belongs to The Grouch, while the final engineering is separately attributed. The Living Legends connection is only the broadest frame for this partnership. Their shared catalogue includes *No More Greener Grasses* and *Say G&E!*, and they continue meeting outside the duo billing too: Eligh’s FAZE.ONE collaboration *The Way The Light Looks* includes The Grouch on “Infinity.” “God Blessed Me” therefore needs no reunion story. The more interesting detail is the practical one—two MCs recording together, with one of them also doing the chop work beneath the performance.
