Copywrite "Green Screen" produced by Evidence [Video]

This is the second single from my new album, "T.H.E. LAST SUPPER" dropping early this year on Man Bites Dog Records

I enlisted Evidence for the production on this track and my brother DJ Ceven killed the scratches for me.  So we're representing real Hip Hop shit in its purest form on this one and you can't do anything but love it.

Since this song is called "Green Screen", I'm doing a remix context for both the song and the video. Included in my YouTube video for this song is the link to download the acapella for the song. Just add your beat and since the video is green screen, you'll also be able to easy edit the background of the video to manipulate what I'm doing. The winner will be selected personally by me and will make a song with me personally on live.

Salute and let me hear and see who has the heat. Peace and love.

Obnoxious - Honor Roll (Produced by Evidence)

San Diego emcee Obnoxious has officially released his brand new single "Honor Roll" produced by Evidence. The track is the latest single from Obnoxious forthcoming Suburban Noize debut "Sic Audio", coming later this year.

Released in tandem with the Ev produced single across platforms, Obnoxious has dropped the video for "Honor Roll". The music video was shot and directed by King Zabb and provides the perfect backdrop to the angelic vocals and ominous organ that powers Ev's beat. The video showcases Obnoxious dark complex rhymes, as the San Diego emcee levels up his bars to match the top-notch production.

"Blessed to link up with one of the greatest and have Evidence produce my new single Honor Roll. I grew up listening to Evidence and he's one of my all-time favorite producers, so working with him was an amazing opportunity," commented Obnoxious. "From the moment he sent me the beat and I laid down my verse, he was breaking everything down on a whole different level. The original beat was just the skeleton, and after I laid down the vocals he then went to work meticulously producing the beat to the vocal tracks, before sending detailed notes on the mix and master. In an era of hip-hop where everyone just sends files back and forth slapping things together, Evidence's attention to detail, creativity, and the way he deconstructs the music make him one of the greatest. He truly elevated the song, and pushed me to level up."

Since signing with Suburban Noize Records, San Diego-based emcee Obnoxious has been on a steady rise through the ranks. After releasing a series of solo singles like "Killshot", "Superstitious", and "Starstruck", Obnoxious wordplay and rhymes have become razor-sharp, reflecting a chaotic musical juxtaposition of grimy street life mixed with a true hip-hop lyricism that will make your neck snap.

Evidence - Taylor Made Suit

Today, the Los Angeles-based, world-renowned hip-hop luminary Evidence unveils an emotionally charged new music video for his latest single “Taylor Made Suit. The song remains a standout from his critically acclaimed fourth solo studio album, Unlearning Vol. 1, available now via Rhymesayers Entertainment.

In the visual directed and edited by frequent collaborator Stephen Vanasco, Evidence raps to his own reflection. Hazy vignettes track him through the desert and under palm trees until one final closeup focuses on him in the titular suit.

The cryptic nature of the visual amplifies the emotional heft of lyrics such as “Funeral suit same as my wedding suit, I only got one” and “Had a close homie tell me, don’t write my life and write some happy shit, like what keeps me up at night is average. The track directly addresses the death of his son’s mother as he affirms, “I’m Mr. Mom to anybody who’s been keeping up, before he holds back tears to assure his boy, “Your momma’s in heaven.

Produced by V Don, “Taylor Made Suit” remains the centerpiece of Unlearning Vol. 1 and showcases another side of the elite MC. It also follows on the heels of his music video for “Lost In Time (Park Jams). The latter has already racked up 143K YouTube views and counting, whileInsomniac Magazine described it as “brilliant.Stay tuned for more to come!

After dropping on June 25, Unlearning Vol. 1 was named one of “The 10 Best Rap Albums of 2021 So Far” byAmbrosia for Heads and hailed by Brooklyn Vegan as one of “The Best Rap Albums of June 2021.” Additionally, the album received Best of 2021 nods from Bandcamp and HipHopGoldenAge and even more praise from2DopeBoyz,HipHopDX,HotNewHipHop, and others. Building up to the album release, music videos for Better You,” “All of That Said,” and “Pardon Me” were released, with a music video for “Where We Going from Here” accompanying the album on its release date. The fourteen-track effort pairs Evidence’s own production with that of The Alchemist, Nottz, Sebb Bash, Animoss, Mr. Green, V Don, Daringer, Khrysis and EARDRUM (QThree), showcasing Evidence’s uncanny ability to collaborate with a wide range of producers and still deliver a cohesive album. A small but powerful cast of guest appearances decorate the album’s soundscape, with Boldy James, Conway The Machine, Fly Anakin, Navy Blue, and Murkage Dave each holding their own alongside Evidence

Soundcloud Scrutiny Ft Evidence, Datkid, Bronx Slang, Nottz, Rapsody, Ke Turner, Rah Digga, Trademark Blud & ANoyd

Hi everybody my names Scuba and this should serve as some form of quick introduction. I've been a blogger since 2009 on "Scotland Standup" and worked in a few other places since then til i started "All That Dope Shit" which is now a monthly Hip Hop Podcast on my podcasting channel called BTN Media

All you need to know is Butcha has allowed me to be an author of some posts on HHHeadz with some other work coming soon.  That'll do from me.

I used to do a Soundcloud Goodies post on my other blogs a while back, so Butcha has allowed somewhat of a "Pilot Episode" on his website. So here we go and let's see if we get renewed for a full season.

Before we start, Heres what this is all about:
Me and a guest or 2 will have the chance to write small reviews, as a DJ and hip hop fan i can discuss my thoughts on the music and how it sounds as a whole. Guests will be able to review the music from their perspective. Not everything is equal and musical taste is relative, what's DOPE to me, may not be so good in anothers eyes. This is what this post is all about.

So let's get into it, and if you dare. Leave a comment, I'm interested to see your thoughts on the tracks i've picked, and what you think of what we are thinking .Artists are probably going to check the posts so any feedback for them would be amazing, or maybe not haha.

This Weeks guest:
Canberra, Australia based Rapper and crew member of Rap FC Jam Cee
