CONCORDS by ullnevano x logic marselis

In the span of 3 years, the Baltimore emcee has been on an impressive run, staying active musically by releasing such great projects from "Baby Jordan" to last year's "The Ghost of Reggie Lewis".  Known for his signature approach to albums with a producer enhancing the soundscapes, he's teamed up with longtime Norfolk, VA producer Logic Marselis to bring listeners the collaborative project titled CONCORDS. Throughout the project, listeners will hear Neva quote that this album is a "self-proclaimed" classic, as the concept of audio through sound is their take on the classic silhouette that had the sneaker community in a chokehold.

The two musicians wanted to create music that people could relate to and that the newer generation of hip-hop could appreciate.  Neva and Logic Marselis capture a balance of soulful chops, obscure loops accompanied with unorthodox rhyme patterns over top of layered lyrics to standards that push the rewind factor.  With verses supplied by King Jvmes, Iron Emperor, Illien Rosewell, J-Berd, Guy Grams and DJ cuts from DJ Jon Doe, CONCORDS promises to bring exclusivity and that line wrapped around your mom & pops sneaker boutique feel. Currently available on Bandcamp with DSPs, CDs and limited cassette tapes to follow.

Amazing Hallelujah by ullnevano x logic marselis

As anticipation reaches a fever pitch for Baltimore emcee UllNevaNo and Norfolk, Virginia producer Logic Marselis' upcoming album CONCORDS, the duo brings their second single entitled "Amazing Hallelujah" to the masses. With layered keys and hard hitting drums and small vocals sprinkled throughout the record, this is an anthem for all writers who craft verses and put in 10,000 hours.

November 23 by ullnevano x logic marselis

It takes self-discipline and patience to craft a project, and you never want to force the chemistry of natural rawness when creating an album. But in today's world of social media, artists feel the need to constantly drop songs or albums to stay relevant in the public eye. MGNTK representatives Baltimore emcee UllNevaNo and Norfolk Virginia producer Logic Marselis turned a blind eye to this narrative and stuck to actually crafting a project. Since their last release, 2019's DUSTIN GRIME, the emcee/producer combo is back with their first single from the self-proclaimed classic album CONCORDS, titled "November 23rd." Neva glides over Logic Marselis' drumless, wavy looped production as they both pay homage to the classic Jordan retro sneaker.

Love Is by ullnevano

Baltimore emcee UllNevaNo has been very quiet lately when it comes to releasing music, as his 2023 release THE GHOST OF REGGIE LEWIS received incredible praise. The intricate writer has been locked in creating countless records to get things ready for the top of 2024 with VA producer Logic Marselis. Not to keep his eager fans waiting, Neva has teamed up with Manchester, UK producer Matt Kuartz to deliver "Love Is". With hard hitting drums and a wailing sample, Neva navigates through the track not allowing gatekeepers or "haters" to defer his journey of what his true purpose for pursuing music is. Available on Bandcamp, we hope to hear more from these two in the near future, but for now it's an appetizer for things to come in 2024.
