Baron Von Alias ft. Skyzoo, Masta Ace, Smif-N-Wessun & Darien Brockington "And The Story Goes..." [SINGLE]

Baron Von Alias Brings Hip-Hop Royalty Together for “And The Story Goes…”

Independent Newcastle upon Tyne hip-hop artist Baron Von Alias returns with his latest single, “And The Story Goes…”, bringing together an extraordinary line-up of hip-hop royalty for a thought-provoking journey through storytelling, legacy, history and the idea that our stories never truly end.

Produced by Grammy-nominated producer Khrysis, “And The Story Goes…” delivers trademark boom-bap production, providing the perfect backdrop for an all-star collaboration featuring Skyzoo, Masta Ace, Smif-N-Wessun and Darien Brockington, with additional cuts from acclaimed turntablist, DJ A.D.S.

At the heart of the track is a simple but powerful idea: our stories continue long after the moment has passed. Through the words we leave behind, the actions we take and the music we create, pieces of our story can continue to travel through time, passed from one generation to the next.

That concept ties directly into the overarching themes of Baron Von Alias’ upcoming project, “Bootstrap Paradox,” where ideas of time, causality, history and the infinite possibilities of the multiverse are woven throughout the project.

“And The Story Goes…” takes those ideas and turns them into a meeting of generations and perspectives. Each guest brings their own interpretation of what it means for a story to continue, creating a track that feels both deeply personal and universal.

Masta Ace and Smif-N-Wessun bring decades of experience and perspective to the concept, while Skyzoo adds his trademark lyrical storytelling and intricate wordplay. Darien Brockington’s sublime vocals weave throughout the record, adding an emotional and soulful dimension to the track and reinforcing its timeless quality.

Baron Von Alias uses his own verse to bring the concept full circle, drawing on the structure of The Hero’s Journey and exploring the idea of leaving a mark on history so that the legend can live on long after the journey itself has ended. His perspective turns the track into a reflection on the artist’s desire to create something that can outlive them — becoming a story that continues to be told throughout the ages.

“From the beginning, I’ve always seen this project as a journey, and The Hero’s Journey is something that really resonates with the story I’m telling through Baron Von Alias and the whole Bootstrap Paradox project. With my verse, I wanted to bring that idea full circle and look at what it means to leave a mark behind — to create something that can outlive you. For me, that’s the ultimate goal: to make music that becomes part of your legacy, so that long after the journey has ended, the story is still being told. Because as long as the story continues, in some way, the legend lives on.”— Baron Von Alias

Adding another layer to the time-travelling concept, DJ A.D.S. provides the cuts, bringing fragments of other eras, voices and musical moments into the record. His scratches help reinforce the idea that music itself is a form of time travel, carrying voices and stories from the past into the present and potentially far beyond.

The result is a cinematic boom-bap collaboration that feels simultaneously rooted in hip-hop’s history and concerned with its future.

“And The Story Goes…” is more than a song about storytelling. It is a song about what happens when the story keeps going.

Los Chicos Criollos (Kingdom Kome x Che Uno) "Olmedo Y Porcel" [VIDEO]

Los Chicos Criollos the rhyme-slinging duo of Kingdom Kome + Che Uno have just dropped a new video + single “Olmedo Y Porcel.” Named for the legendary Argentinian comedy duo Alberto Olmedo and Jorge Porcel, the emcee duo displays a similar attack of irreverent bars, flowing back & forth while flexing in English and Spanish effortlessly.

Filmed on location at the El Almacen Café in Toronto, Canada by WIZDOME BUNITALL (for Fuego Films) the track is powered by frequent collaborator of the duo, producer/DJ RUEN.

“Olmedo Y Porcel” is the first leak from the forthcoming Los Chicos Criollos album, Merca Musica to drop on November 10th via Walking With Enoch Music. Though they have two Halloween themed mixtapes together (Brujos 1 + 2 respectively) this will be the first full Los Cricos Criollos album produced by RUEN. With frequent references to their shared Argentinian roots the album title translates roughly to the slang title of dope music. As Kingdom Kome states “we are trafficking this pure uncut and unfiltered product, which is our music, and we feel the whole concept just got elevated with RUEN’s contributions.”

Bernadette Price & Terror Van Poo feat. Ras Kass "Anger Built Up" prod. Vinny Idol [VIDEO]

Following "U May Not Understand" (prod. Beatz By Neff) and its video, "Anger Built Up" arrives as the next cut from the Bernadette Price/Terror Van Poo axis. Vinny Idol produces this time, with Ras Kass joining as a feature. Ras Kass has been one of the West Coast's sharpest lyrical voices since "Soul On Ice" (1996), and his guest verses rarely lose density. ReemoFilmedIt directs. Duck Down Music distributes. Bernadette Price holds the center here as well: Ruck Down heritage, now supplemented by a West Coast voice operating at the same level.

Ghostface Killah x Producer Plug "50 Years of Hiphop" [SINGLE]

Ghostface Killah needs no introduction: a member of Wu-Tang Clan since 1992, with "Ironman," "Supreme Clientele," "Fishscale," and one of the most consistent careers in rap history behind him. "50 Years of Hiphop" with Producer Plug marks the celebration of five decades of hip-hop culture. No further credits were available. With Ghostface, the voice itself is the quality guarantee.

CrimeApple & Michaelangelo "Fondue" [VIDEO]

"Fondue" is the second video pulled from CrimeApple's "PEDIGREE" album with Michaelangelo, following the already-covered title track. SyberianTiger shoots and edits. CrimeApple stays in his lane: image-dense, hookless, more flow than structure. A second video from the same album confirms "PEDIGREE" carries enough material for an extended campaign.

B1 The Architect & G Fam Black "Grime Suppliers" [ALBUM]

B1 The Architect is a Canadian producer, MC, and audio engineer rolled into one. G Fam Black comes from Brockton, Massachusetts, and keeps surfacing across these lists — most recently on Mike Titan x Flu and previously on Hanzo Bladez's "MANIAC," for which Hanzo built every beat. Here the constellation flips: B1 handles the majority of production himself (seven of twelve tracks), mixes and masters everything, with external beats from Tali Rodriguez, P-Ro, Crack Sizzlack, CloaqXDagger, and Mello Dee. P-Ro is the same producer from Sankofa's "Seven Seconds or Less" — the networks keep crossing. Features stay sparse: Le Zeppo and P-Ro on "The Storm Is Coming," and DJ Decepta on the closer "DEAD SHOT" — the same DJ Decepta who cut Benefit's "Labyrinth Center" and Mike Titan's "World Tournament Ish." The album's self-description is unusually detailed and honest: "vivid, descriptive, deprived and raw, combining immaculately honed technical ability, with a taste for the strange and morbid." Artwork by B1, Dirty Iron, and Hi-Q.

YEAROFJORDN, Kai Onyx, Yogi Barry "Dubland Underground" ft. Magic Gretzky & Curtis Coke [VIDEO]

The track was covered last round, including the history of Dub Land Underground as the Rochester venue that closed in 2014. The video comes from Phresh (The Phresh Company), color by A London Joint, distributed through YOJ Records/CLC. No new facts, just the visual execution of what was already documented.

Apathy x Little Vic "Miles & Miles" [SINGLE]

Apathy has been a fixture of the East Coast underground since the early 2000s, known through Demigodz, Army of the Pharaohs, and his solo catalog via Dirty Version Records. His technical level as both MC and producer is well-documented. "Miles & Miles" with Little Vic as production partner extends an active output — without deeper details on Little Vic, I can only describe the frame: a veteran still regularly seeking new pairings.

Goobsy "Polaroid Pics" prod. Kirby Enterprises [VIDEO]

Kirby Enterprises produces, mixes, and masters. "Polaroid Pics" runs on the analog photography metaphor: instant images, unpolished, unrepeatable. As a preview for "Postcards LP," the connection is clear — postcards and polaroids as forms of captured moments. Without further credits or background on Goobsy, the read stays within the conceptual frame.

Benny Slumz "M.V.P" [SINGLE]

Benny Slumz already appeared with "My Empty World" (feat. Tone Spliff). "M.V.P" arrives as a standalone single with no listed feature. Two singles in quick succession point to an active release window.

Superstah Snuk & Termanology "90's Dream" prod. Pauly Cicero [VIDEO]

Termanology comes from Lawrence, Massachusetts, and has been a fixture of the East Coast underground since the early 2000s, with work alongside Statik Selektah, DJ Premier, and Bun B. Superstah Snuk operates in the same orbit, pulling the track from his "Beautiful Music" album. Pauly Cicero produces, Marble Ave Films directs. "90's Dream" as a title isn't nostalgia but the dream the '90s promised. A focused MC exchange on solid production ground.

GMMG "MODAL FABLES vol.1" [EP]

GMMG stands for "Gamma Made Me Green," and the tracklist reads like a sci-fi log: "DICED," "RAY GUN," "MITIGATE," "LOTUS," "FLOW DANCE," "WATER GUN," "PSYCHONAUT," "WHAT HAPPENED," "TIME AND SPACE." Runtimes vary drastically — from 1:13 to 5:42 — suggesting experimental structure over standard song forms. "Modal Fables" as a title connects music theory (modes) with storytelling (fables). "Vol.1" signals a series. No further credits were available.

Dave East & Harry Fraud "Stay With Me" [VIDEO]

"Stay With Me" is the visual from the "Price of Pain (Luxury Edition)" by Dave East and Harry Fraud. Fraud has been one of the East Coast's most sought-after loop-based producers for years, with credits spanning Action Bronson, Curren$y, French Montana, and countless others. Dave East brings Harlem storytelling to Fraud's cinematic sound. Directed by The Infamous OZ with visual art by Charlie Doves NYC. The Luxury Edition as a deluxe format confirms the original album carried enough substance for an extension.

Sankofa "Seven Seconds or Less" prod. P-Ro [SINGLE]

Sankofa already appeared with "Clea DuVall vs. Steven Seagal" (prod. Chef Mike) in an earlier round. "Seven Seconds or Less" comes from his P-Ro-produced album and weaves its references deliberately: "Seven Seconds or Less" is the offensive philosophy of the Steve Nash-era Phoenix Suns under coach Mike D'Antoni — fast transitions, no stagnant half-court sets. The press info adds "Soul On Ice" fingerprints (Ras Kass' debut), a "36 Chambered" hook reference (Wu-Tang), and a Monica-nodding outro. One track carrying sports history, rap classics, and an R&B reference within a clean frame. No radio edit required. Tali Rodriguez engineers, Bad Apple Design handles artwork — the same crew as the previous Sankofa drop. P-Ro also appears on B1 The Architect's "Grime Suppliers," a producer clearly active across multiple corners simultaneously.

Datkid "Uphill Struggle" prod. Illinformed & Dumb Logic [VIDEO]

Datkid raps, Illinformed and Dumb Logic co-produce, High Focus Records releases. Illinformed is one of the most prolific and consistently excellent producers in UK boom bap, with a catalog spanning Dirty Dike, Leaf Dog, and Ocean Wisdom. High Focus is Fliptrix's label (Four Owls) and has shaped the UK underground for over a decade. The format here is a live performance video by SLUGS, separate from the studio version available on streaming platforms. "Uphill Struggle" as a title needs no explanation: the fight uphill is program, not metaphor.

A.P. Da Overlord & Skellz "Duck Tales LP" [ALBUM]

A.P. Da Overlord writes and performs, Skellz produces the entire album. The duck metaphor runs through: "Duck Sauce (Intro)," "Duck Confit," "Duck Boots," "D2 Mighty Ducks," plus "Flying V" — the hockey formation from the Disney film — as a track title with Juxx Diamondz, who appeared earlier this batch with "Mind Bender." Gustavo Louis shows up as "Grappler Gustavo" on "Lordship" alongside C.X. Spoda, Frankie Waffles, T'so, and Rome Mallory round out the guest list. The "Precise" voicemails as skits add a personal frame to the tape.

2DEAD BOYZ "Felony Ring" prod. JUNIE [VIDEO]

2DEAD BOYZ is the gritty new incarnation of East Coast hip-hop firebrands Meechy Darko and Zombie Juice, of the Flatbush Zombies. The two spent more than a decade as two-thirds of Flatbush Zombies alongside Erick "The Architect" Elliott, helping establish a distinctly psychedelic corner of New York hip-hop. Flatbush Zombies emerged from Brooklyn in the early 2010s, becoming closely associated with New York's Beast Coast movement alongside Pro Era and The Underachievers. Meechy released his solo album "Gothic Luxury" in 2022, while Zombie Juice followed with "Love Without Conditions" in 2023. The name itself nods to Outkast's "2 Dope Boyz (in a Cadillac)," and the duo was heavily influenced by André 3000 and Big Boi. Meechy and Juice have been close since the fourth grade, bonding over pro wrestling, Dragon Ball Z, and mixtapes. "Felony Ring" is produced by JUNIE, and the duo is preparing a new album called "NO1LIVES4EVER." An accompanying US tour with The Underachievers makes this a Beast Coast reunion in spirit. Ineffable Records handles distribution through ØPulse.

The Koreatown Oddity "Purdy" [ALBUM]

Los Angeles-based rapper The Koreatown Oddity releases his newest album "Purdy" through Stones Throw Records. It's his fourth album for the label, following 2022's "ISTHISFORREAL?" and the widely acclaimed 2020 record "Little Dominiques Nosebleed." His legal name is Dominique Purdy, so the album title is his own surname. Stones Throw describes the record as "the proving ground for an avant-garde rapper tackling being a father and partner with the boundless confidence of a child's imagination." On the album, KTown soundtracks a knight's first battle, documents the cultivation of a beautiful lawn and questions whether anyone really means it when they say "have a great weekend" — all while recognizing he's now part of something larger. Fifteen tracks, with Gary Wilson featured on "Dancing with the Trees" and Trenttruce on "Festivus." Vinyl pressed as Lavender Haze Eco Vinyl with OBI strip, purple cassettes limited to 100. An album that negotiates absurdity and fatherhood in the same breath without sacrificing underground credibility.

Killah Dilla & Sado "Vitos Pizza" [VIDEO]

Following "BAD CHOICES" and "Jealousy" (prod. Frizzy Astro), "Vitos Pizza" arrives as the third cut from the Killah Dilla/Sado axis. No production credit was supplied. The title carries the expected Sopranos echo: Artie Bucco's place in the shadow of the mob, the restaurant as neutral ground. Or simply a corner spot that means something. Without deeper context, the image stays.

Cyrus Malachi x Farma G x Circa 97 x Cheeba Cheeba Records "Arsenic" [SINGLE]

Cyrus Malachi is a rapper from London. He burst onto the UK hip-hop scene with his crew Triple Darkness on their 2008 debut album "Anathema," an LP that has become known as a UK classic. In 2009 he joined the Orphans of Cush, consisting of Kyza Smirnoff, Cyrus Malachi, Melanin 9, and Masikah. Farma G, born Robin Coombes, forms one half of UK hip-hop group Task Force alongside his brother Chester P, and has since 2018 been producing beats for US underground acts including Recognize Ali, Mooch, Mach-Hommy, Jay Nice, Rome Streetz, and Vinnie Paz. Having these two names on one track connects two central lineages of UK underground rap: Malachi for the dark, esoteric side, Farma G for the craft-driven, crate-digging tradition. Circa 97 and Cheeba Cheeba Records provide the framework.

Shadow The Great & Rah Tha Ruler "Get Money" prod. King Illa [VIDEO]

"Get Money" is a straightforward equation: Shadow The Great and Rah Tha Ruler over a King Illa beat, distributed through Loaf Records. Rah Tha Ruler isn't new to this batch he featured on Da Inphamus Amadeuz's "Henny Astrology." No verified background on Shadow The Great was available. The title is the program, the frame is clear.

The Tangiers (Massiah Kaine & Benefit) feat. Heltah Skeltah "Long Live Sean Price" [SINGLE]

A circle closes here. The Tangiers Massiah Kaine and Benefit bring in Heltah Skeltah for "Long Live Sean Price." Heltah Skeltah are Sean Price and Rock, from the Brownsville Houses in Brooklyn. Sean Price passed on June 8, 2015, at the age of 43. The credits listing "Sean P & Rockness" means this track contains recorded material from Sean Price, not a simulated feature. Gajoz produces, Hardtimes Records releases in dirty and clean versions. The Tangiers already have Smif-N-Wessun and Duck Down connections in their orbit. This is not a nostalgia piece it's a legacy document.

Alla Xul Elu "Universal Perverts EP" [EP]

Alla Xul Elu is an American hip hop group formerly signed to Majik Ninja Entertainment. The Ohio trio consists of Billy Obey, Joey Black, and Lee Carver. A Midwestern horrorcore trio drawing from old-school horror rap acts like Twiztid, SyCkSyDe, and the Flatlinerz. In July 2025, they departed from Majik Ninja Entertainment to focus on their own Long Live Evil imprint. "Universal Perverts EP" at six tracks is among the first releases after that split. The trio is fully independent now, which should serve the sound well.

King Gordy & ILLtemper (Even Heathens) "Same Pussy" prod. Stir Crazy [VIDEO]

Even Heathens has existed since 2021, and the output since has been relentless: the self-titled debut in 2021 with 15 songs, the "Horrorcore Stories EP" that same year, entirely produced by Stir Crazy, "Unpleasant Never Dies" in 2022 with 13 songs, "Odd Gods 2" in April 2023, "Odd Gods 3" in April 2024, and "Handful of Cancel" in July 2025 with 14 songs. Stir Crazy appears as a recurring producer across the entire catalog. "Same Pussy" continues the line, filmed and edited by RoX-TV. King Gordy brings Detroit horrorcore weight, ILLtemper operates out of Pennsylvania. Six releases in, the chemistry is battle-tested, giving the track the luxury of needing to prove nothing. If you know the duo, you know what's coming: dark humor, graphic imagery, zero concessions.

GhostDaLyrical + ProducerTrentTaylor - "Taylor Made Ghost" [ALBUM]

NY spitmatician GhostDaLyrical returns with his first new project for 2026. Taylor Made Ghost is a seven-track audio journal fully powered by ProducerTrentTaylor (who has also laced tracks/albums for Murs, Fashawn, Lando Chill). The resulting work is the highly confessional bars of a family man who has navigated the pitfalls of the block with the scars to show it. Production wise Taylor arms the Ghost with dusty off-kilter soul and hard-snapping soundscapes.

Speaking on the link-up with Taylor, Ghost Da Lyrical revealed “I’ve had a very light line on him, going back to the early 2010’s. Some of these beats have been in a folder on a drive for the better part of a decade. Lightning finally struck one day when I was on my Patio in Crown Heights, Brooklyn smoking and vibing to them. “ As to the lyrical content this time around he also revealed “I rap a lot about my real life, so there’s a lot to unpack as far as that goes. Some of this is growing pains, some are recent events. One song that I’m really feeling offthis effort is ‘Straight Up’ which is mostly inspired by my so-called ‘running the streets’ in my late teens/early 20’s.”

Listen to Taylor Made Ghost: Here

Though emceeing for close to two decades, there has been significant periods of radio silence in GhostDaLyrical’s rhyme career. Most recently he dropped his first full-length in many years in 2025, which was I Just Came To Rap, which was fully produced by Retrospec (Dusty Reynolds, Bub Styles). The intro track is an actual news report detailing the emcee being shot while working in a Brooklyn Housing Development.

Dom Pachino "Terrorist Pirateships" ft. Warghosts, prod. Bronze Nazareth [VIDEO]

Dom Pachino is a founding member of Killarmy, Wu-Tang's military unit out of Steubenville and Staten Island, releasing through his own Napalm Recordings. Detroit's Bronze Nazareth belongs to the Wu-Elements school of producers and spent years as RZA's protégé. Warghosts are Bomshot and Holocaust, a pairing with real history: Warcloud teamed up with Bomshot to form Warghosts some years back with the blessing and disapproval of fans all over. Bomshot hails from Boston and formed a group with Jus Allah of Jedi Mind Tricks as Devil's Rejects before landing in the Wu orbit. Holocaust himself remains one of the strangest voices in Killa Beez history a member of the Black Knights group featured on Wu-Tang's 1998 The Swarm album who contributed to RZA's Bobby Digital solo projects, later recording as Warcloud on albums like "Smuggling Booze in the Graveyard". The release notes call him "the late great Holocaust", and that is verified: he was being held at the maximum-security Theo Lacy Facility in Orange County, California, where he was found unresponsive on Sunday afternoon, December 29th; he passed away in police custody at 45, born Anthony Creston Brown. Fellow Wu affiliate Christ Bearer put it bluntly: "Sun did more time for mental illness than hardened criminals and now he die in they custody." Against that backdrop, "Terrorist Pirateships" is more than the skeleton-and-ninja pirate fantasy Bomshot stages in the video it's one of the final recordings from a voice that spent 25 years building its own bizarre mythology at the edge of the Wu universe.

RAP NOIR (Tajai & Unjust) "Club Noir" prod. Black Bumble Bee [ALBUM]

Rap Noir is the pairing of Tajai (Souls of Mischief, Hieroglyphics) and Unjust. The description frames "Club Noir" as a fresh twist on an underground classic, and the opener is titled "Reimagined" to my knowledge that points back to their 2019 Rap Noir album, though I couldn't verify that externally here. Black Bumble Bee produces (spelled "Bumple Bee" in the source). Thirteen tracks including a seven-minute "Calculation", with Chicago's Psalm One on "Shall We" and Hiero brother Casual plus Oakland's Beeda Weeda on "Addicted". A title like "Panopticism" tells you Foucault vocabulary is being dragged into a club setting Tajai never rapped for easy listening. And there's a cross-connection that surprised me while checking #10: Warghosts were signed to Clear Label Records, the company owned and run by Tajai of Hieroglyphics. Two releases on this list, one label head.

MRKBH x Rico James "Footprints" [VIDEO]

The EP was covered already: MRKBH writes and performs, Rico James produces, mixes and masters solo. "Footprints" is track three, no feature one of the cuts where the two-man chemistry stands unobstructed. TheLordzChain handles the visual. Nothing new beyond that, and nothing more is needed.

Split Sphere x Swollen Members x Moka Only "Witness the Splitness EP" [EP]

This isn't a reunion in the marketing sense it's chronology. In 1991 Moka Only formed Split Sphere with Prevail; in 1993 the duo moved to San Diego, then to Vancouver in 1994. Prevail went on to form Swollen Members with Madchild, and while Moka named the group, he chose to pursue a solo career, later joining and departing again. 4X JUNO Award winners Prevail and Moka Only were Split Sphere before co-founding Swollen Members, which resulted in Platinum sales certifications and legions of fans across the world. The EP collects a year-long single run: "Welcome Us Back" (April 20), "Reactivated" (May 17), "Bonafide Badlands" (June 15), "Pero and Emmo" (July 10), then "Unga Bunga" and finally "Witness the Splitness" on September 4 six tracks, six singles. The distribution stance stands out: the acapella and instrumental for "Witness the Splitness" are offered at no cost, with an optional tip at checkout, explicitly cleared for remixing. Moka Only remains a category of his own an immensely gifted performer who can rap, sing, freestyle and produce in a variety of formats, with a catalog running into dozens of albums. Three names on the cover, but at its core this is a two-man project with 35 years of backstory.

BA PACE / HI-POST "He Tried To Spin Got Spun Like Wax" [VIDEO]

"It Get SFX Tricky" was covered in depth already. The visual for track two adds nothing to the read but does supply two credits: Mark Malave shooting, BA Pace editing. The title remains one of the tape's sharpest a pun that short-circuits street logic ("spin" as deception, as dodge) with DJ vocabulary (wax, turntable). The MC cutting his own footage fits the PublicHousingNYC approach: everything handled in-house.

YEAROFJORDN, Kai Onyx & Yogi Barry "Dubland Underground" ft. Magic Gretzky & Curtis Coke [SINGLE]

The title is local history. Dub Land Underground was a split-level music hall and bar in the heart of Rochester's East End Entertainment District at 315 Alexander St., with a capacity of 300. It closed its doors for good on January 10th, 2014 after seven years in operation, having served as home for a variety of local bands, a destination for niche national acts and a launching pad for some of the region's finest musicians. Kai Onyx and Yogi Barry naming a song after it reads as hometown loyalty without the sepia filter the room only exists in memory now, and the record pins it down. Producer/rapper YEAROFJORDN builds the beat and fully produces the forthcoming album "Cloudy Above Kodak", another Rochester marker given Kodak's role in shaping the city. Magic Gretzky and Curtis Coke join as guests, with Phresh (The Phresh Company) directing and A London Joint on color. Rochester keeps surfacing across these batches Azariah, JD Riggz, now this trio.

MarFromDetroit & Work Scorsese "TPOTBGU" [VIDEO]

"TPOTBGU" is pulled from "Cold Work", the full collaborative album between MarFromDetroit and Work Scorsese. The producer isn't new to this space Work Scorsese already handled "Stick to the Script" for Villa Velli, covered in an earlier round, and seems to favor full-length runs with single MCs. MarFromDetroit has been building his own catalog for years; "Don't Run From It" was featured on Bandcamp Radio in August 2021. No source explains the acronym in the title, and I won't guess. The album name says enough on its own: Detroit cold, Scorsese work.

Massiah Kaine "Ground 0" (Freestyle) prod. Farrari Beats [SINGLE]

The hard facts arrive after last round's video read. "Ground 0" is billed as a freestyle, produced by Farrari Beats, delivered in dirty and clean versions radio-ready by design. It comes via Hardtimes Records, an indie label straight out of Brooklyn, New York, which has backed The Tangiers from the start. Massachusetts emcees Benefit (of EMS) and Kaine formed the duo, and their debut "The House Always Wins" follows a gritty but abstract view of the streets, with production from Hits ByLive, QB Rap-P, 84 Music, Ron Champagne and Buckroll Beat plus Smif-N-Wessun and RJ Payne among the guests. Kaine also moves within the label's wider network, appearing on PR Dean's cut alongside Copywrite, Heleos and King Nova. So this freestyle isn't a cold start it's the solo step of an MC with an established circle behind him.

Mike Titan x Flu "World Tournament Ish" feat. New Villain, G Fam Black & DJ Decepta [SINGLE]

Mike Titan operates under the tagline "Bronx, NY. No Gimmicks. All Raps," a statement that runs through his entire Bandcamp profile. His back catalog shows close ties to Hilltop Productions and, notably for this context, to DJ Ronsha, with whom he already recorded "For Paris With Love" — the same DJ Ronsha tied to G-Zon in HHHEADZ's own history. Flu, meanwhile, is a producer out of Melbourne, Australia, previously active under the name Fluent Form, with roots in the Crate Cartel label and a solo catalog stretching back to the late 2000s. "World Tournament Ish" thus bridges two entirely different time zones. The guest list tightens the circle further: G Fam Black of Brockton, who already built a full album with Hanzo Bladez, alongside New Villain and DJ Decepta — the latter familiar from Benefit's "Labyrinth Center." It's a track that shows just how small the international underground network has actually become.

Juxx Diamondz x SaulyO Beats "Mind Bender" [VIDEO]

Juxx Diamondz comes out of Brooklyn, releasing through Back Block Music Group. "Mind Bender" comes from the album "Da Destruction Segment," produced by SaulyO Beats. The self-description points to a mentality forged through pressure, struggle and ambition — standard vocabulary for gritty street storytelling. Beyond the supplied details, I can't confirm further facts about SaulyO Beats or Back Block Music Group.

TheHiddenCharacter x BoneWeso "Bombsaway" [SINGLE]

Beyond the Apple Music listing, I have no verifiable additional information on either TheHiddenCharacter or BoneWeso but the track is Dope.

Grace Chia "Ambidextrous" [VIDEO]

The credits are complete and transparent: lyrics by Grace Chia herself, recording and mix by Lachy Hamill, mastering at Crystal Mastering, video by Stavros Vlachogiannis. Down Under Cyphers as the presenting platform points to an Australian/New Zealand context. The title "Ambidextrous" works as an image for stylistic or thematic versatility, though I won't stretch that reading further without the lyrics themselves. No further verified background on Grace Chia was available to me.

Hanzo Bladez ft. Albany Lou "Trauma Ties" prod. SauceYin [SINGLE]

Hanzo Bladez hails from Brooklyn, now lives in Albany, and runs a double life there as both producer and MC within the GRIMEWAV circle. That he doesn't just guest but builds full albums shows in his work with Brockton's G Fam Black: for "MANIAC," Hanzo Bladez handled every beat while Uglyjon mixed and mastered. On "Trauma Ties" he steps forward as MC, with SauceYin (Sauciano YinYang) producing and Manny Del Rio on mix and master. The track lands as the second single from the upcoming album "Genesis Floods," a title that pairs biblical weight with personal wounds in a way that mirrors the song itself.

Gustavo Louis "Ganghis Khan 4 Iron" prod. Cusho [VIDEO]

The track comes from "36th Hole", a complete golf concept album with Cusho, following the wrestling-coded predecessor "Narco Finals." Ten tracks run from "Commercial Break Intro" through "Green Jacket Rap," "PGA Tour" and "Pimento Cheese" to the title track "36th Hole," with Bug Nelson featured on "PGA Tour." The twist is deliberate: golf usually shows up in rap only as a luxury symbol, and building a full album around it inverts that entirely — this is about precision, patience and strategy rather than empty display, translated into irons, caddies and street logic. "Ganghis Khan 4 Iron" slots into that vocabulary as a pun straddling conquest mythology and club selection.

Stan Ipcus "High Key" feat. DJ Twi$t II [SINGLE]

Here too, I have no verified background beyond the Apple Music credit. What stands out is the structure itself: DJ Twi$t II is billed as a full feature, not tucked away as a producer footnote. That format keeps recurring across this batch (Charles Herron with Boogie Blind, for instance), pointing to a deliberate respect for turntablism as a standalone contribution rather than an afterthought.

Zeno Woods "For What It's Worth" prod. Rice Master Yen [VIDEO]

Beyond the linked profiles, I have no verifiable background on Zeno Woods. Rice Master Yen produces, and the title "For What It's Worth" carries a classic disclaimer structure — saying something while already shrugging off whether anyone needs to hear it. Without further credits, the read stays limited to what the title itself offers.

DizzyDustin "Rain Delays" ft. Masta Ace [SINGLE]

DizzyDustin out of Long Beach isn't just a name chasing features; he founded one-third of Ugly Duckling, making him a piece of genre history in his own right. Pandamonium handles production, and the original comes from the "Where Do I Go From Here?" album, which already exists in a version cut by Jabba The Kut. Masta Ace's presence here isn't incidental placement — he's remained one of the East Coast's most technically reliable MCs since his Juice Crew days. The "Blue Tint Version" is only available to me as a title, not as a described remix, so I'm deliberately not describing a sound I can't verify.

Noah23 x Fresh Kils "Million Dollar Deal" [VIDEO]

“Million Dollar Deal” is the lead single off Tuff Racket, the collaboration album by Canadian hip hop staples Noah23 & producer Fresh Kils. The track is reminiscent of Outkast with its electric guitar, bounce beat, and intelligent triplet flow. The 6/8 time signature also provides the single a unique feel to the flow. With its creativity and unmatched technical prowess, “Million Dollar Deal” proves how powerful a duo these two are. And now the single gets a video shot and edited by Nic Bambrough (www.bamnation.ca) focused on the capitalist board game that has caused many a family fight.

Doza The Drum Dealer "Sandroze Side B" [ALBUM]

The "Side B" in the title is the statement. This is the back half of a body of work conceived in sides rather than as a continuous playlist, and carrying that vinyl logic into a digital release is a position rather than a formality. Fourteen tracks is generous for a B-side, which suggests a substantial project overall. The name itself puts craft first, since calling yourself a drum dealer means the negotiation happens over drums, not image. No verified details on credits, features or production splits were available to me, and I'm not filling that gap with guesswork.

Johnny Ciggs & D.R.U.G.S. Beats "MANY MOONS" (Moonlight Pt. 9) [VIDEO]

The "Moonlight Pt. 9" tag carries the real information. Nine installments mean a series maintained over years, and "MANY MOONS" plays directly on that, many moons standing in for time accumulated. Johnny Ciggs writes and performs, D.R.U.G.S. Beats produces, Skweeks and Fan Ran shoot, and Ciggs edits it himself. The track comes from the album "Glass Roses", which Gritty City Records also pressed on vinyl. An artist running his own label, cutting his own visuals and still committing to a physical pressing describes the DIY position more precisely than any adjective could.

Dynamo-P & H.Gee "Happy Trees EP" [EP]

The division of labor is clean: H.Gee out of Germany handles beats and cuts, while Dynamo-P from Portland, Maine, handles the rhymes. A producer cutting his own records is no longer a given, and it keeps the project's sound entirely in one pair of hands. The EP is explicitly billed as a five-track "pre roll pack", designed for smoking and sitting back rather than posing as a concept record, which is honest framing and doesn't need inflating. It also marks another entry on the German-production, US-MC axis that keeps surfacing across this batch.

Coyote & Xzibit "Foo You Know I'm Down" [VIDEO]

An earlier write-up needs correcting: per the release info, Coyote is an LA duo rather than a solo MC, and the wording "once again" makes clear this isn't their first collaboration with Xzibit. What's new is the animated treatment from Moosz1 Films, produced through Coyote For Hire Production. Going animated shifts the weight of the record, trading street backdrop for an invented visual world, which suits a title like this by leaving room for humor instead of menace. The accompanying "say yes to life" framing reinforces exactly that.
