The history behind this release runs deep. Force Pure formed in 1994 in Les Ulis (Essonne, Paris suburbs) from the meeting of beatmaker Djiil and rapper Daz-Ini; Da'Pro joined in 1997 and completed the lineup. The group has stood for total self-production and value loyalty across three decades: the debut maxi "De l'Obscurité Jaillira la Lumière" (1999) was fully self-financed, followed by mixtapes, the album "Lost Sound" (2003) and countless compilation appearances. Da'Pro himself aka MC Turtle, aka "La Pile Electrique," self-declared B-Boy Punk delivered his solo debut "Verbale Croisade" in 2006. "Pépites d'Or" now marks, explicitly, his first digital album: ten "luminous nuggets" of new material, classics and rarities, dedicated to everyone who always supported him, with a sequel announced for autumn. The credits read like a family reunion: features from Daz-Ini, G-Moni, Han-Akin, Asco (Bunzen) and Spee Banger (NNS); beats from Sheety aka Mr Tanakaa, Hydeprod, DirtyDef, Spee Banger, Shimshon, Van-C, Phonksyke, DJ VR and Keor Meteor; scratches by Jiggy Jon and DJ Gero, cover by Stinky, label: 6ème Sens Galaxie. "Les Mondes Engloutis" casually quotes the cult French 80s animated series. This is French underground as a long-distance run not a comeback, but an inventory from someone who never left.
